It is now a legal requirement to ensure gas safety for all your tenants. By law you must:
- Repair and maintain gas pipework, flues and appliances in safe condition
- Ensure an annual gas safety check on each appliance and flue
- Keep a record of each gas safety check
At all times, your tenants need to be informed about their responsibilities whilst in your property.
Here at Banner Plumbing all our engineers are qualified and can issue the Landlord gas safety certificate. Our office will also send you a service reminder to let you know that your appliance is due for their annual service and safety inspection. Should any remedial work be required, this will be communicated to the landlord for authorisation.
